The Army ROTC Scholarship Program is offered at more then 273 colleges and universities throughout the nation. Scholarships are full-tuition and based on a student's merit not financial need. There are also separate allowances for books and fees as well as stipends, all of which allow students to focus on academics and their training rather than their finances.

General qualifications: U.S. citizen, between the ages of 17 and 26 and meet physical standards. Have a minimum high school GPA of 2.5 and at least a minimum SAT score of 920 (math/verbal) or an ACT composite score of 19 (excluding the required writing test scores). Scholarship recipients have a commitment to the Army after completing the program.

Obtain applications from the above address, high school counseling offices, ROTC office at various colleges and universities or the website above.

Deadline: Applications must be postmarked by December 1
