FEDERAL WORK-STUDY (FWS)

Provides part-time employment while you are enrolled in school Available to undergraduate and graduate students Available to full-time and part-time students Encourages community service work and work related to your course of study, whenever possible Earn at least the current federal minimum wage; undergraduate students are paid by the hour FEDERAL WORK-STUDY (FWS) Money is earned while attending school and does not have to be repaid. For undergraduate and graduate students. Jobs can be on campus or off campus. Student must demonstrate financial need.

Note: You also might be able to get financial aid from your state government, your school or a private scholarship. Research non- federal aid early (ideally, start in the spring of your junior year of high school). Be sure to meet all application deadlines!
