    Seventy $16,000 scholarships are awarded each year to be used over
    four years of undergraduate study.  Selection is based on financial
    need and academic ability.  Available to graduating seniors of high 
    schools in the following counties:  Harris, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort 
    Bend, Galveston, Liberty, Montgomery and Waller.  You must be a United
    States citizen to apply.

    During your senior year, after September 15, applications may be down-
    loaded from  "http://www.HammanFoundation.org" .  If you do not have access to a 
    computer, you may request (in writing to the address above) that an 
    application be sent to you.

    Deadline for receipt of completed application and required attachments 
    in one package is 4:00 PM February 20 of the student's senior year.
