    Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors or 
    previous high school graduates entering college for the first time.
    Applicant must enroll in food science/technology undergraduate 
    programs (IFT approved).  Freshman scholarships $1,000; additional
    scholarships available for sophomores.

    Applications are available from the IFT website above, by contact-
    ing the IFT Scholarship Department at 312-782-8424 or by contacting the
    department head at TAMU.  Completed applications must be submitted to
    the department head.

    Department at eligible college (NOT TO IFT) by February 15.
