    One $2,000 scholarship is available, which can be used only for
    tuition, fees and books.  Application is restricted to women who
    are citizens of the United States and are residents of Texas.  In
    August of application year, must have a cumulative grade point
    average (GPA) of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and must be attending
    or have been accepted as undergraduate or graduate level student at
    a college or university authorized to confer degrees at or above the
    baccalaureate level.
