Those eligible to apply for a Sid Richardson Memorial Fund scholarship are direct descendants (children or grandchildren) of persons who qualified for Early Retirement, Normal Retirement, Disability Retirement, or Death Benefits from The Retirement Plan for Employees of Bass Enterprises Production Company; or are direct descendants (children or grandchildren) of persons presently employed with a minimum of three years' full-time service with any of the following employers: Sid Richardson Carbon and Energy Co. (Sid Richardson Carbon and Gasoline Company or Sid Richardson Carbon Company) and SRCE, L.P., Bass Enterprises Production Co., BEPCO, L.P., Bass Brothers Enterprises, Inc., Richardson Oils, Inc., Perry R. Bass, Inc., (Sid. W. Richardson, Inc.), Chisholm Trail Ventures, L.P., Sid W. Richardson Foundation, San Jose Cattle Company (Fairview Farms), City Center Development Co., Richardson Aviation, Sid Richardson Carbon, Ltd., SRCG Aviation, Inc., Leapartners, L.P., Barbnet Investments Co., City Club of Ft. Worth (City Center Development Co.), City Center Development Co., L.P. (DBA City Center Development Co. and City Center Executive Suite), Sundance Square, Sundance Square Partners, L.P. (DBA Sundance Square, the Cassidy, and Sundance Square Development), Sundance Square Management, L.P. (DBA Sundance Square Management Co. and Sundance Square Management), and BOPCO, L.P.

Further, those eligible to apply also shall consist of children and grandchildren of persons who retired from the following entities on or before 2/28/06: Sid Richardson Energy Services, Ltd. (Sid Richardson Energy Services Co., Sid Richardson Gasoline, Ltd., or Sid Richardson Gasoline Co.) and Richardson Energy Marketing, Ltd. (Richardson Products II, Ltd.).

Limited funds are available to assist in defraying the cost of college education or of vocational training. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis according to academic achievement and financial need. Eligible candidates should direct a written request for application to Peggy Laskoski at above address or email plaskoski@sidrichardson.org.
The request may also be faxed to 817-332-2176. Include student's name, qualifying employee name, social security number of employee, qualifying company name, and dates of employment.
