    Scholarship available for son, daughter or legally adopted child of an
    active, retired or deceased letter carrier NALC member who is or was a
    member in good standing for at least one year prior to student making
    application.  Stepchildren and grandchildren are eligible if they live
    with the letter carrier in a regular parent-child relationship.
    Applicant must plan to attend an accredited college.  Only high school
    seniors may apply.  Rules and application governing the competition
    will be published in the July through December issues of the Postal
    Record, the official NALC magazine.  Applicant must also forward a copy
    of original ACT or SAT test results by March 31.
