LICENSE PLATE INSIGNIA SCHOLARSHIP (LPI)

    Funded through the Texas Department of Highways and Public
    Transportation from the purchase of automobile license plates
    bearing the insignia of Texas colleges and universities.  The
    amount of money available for scholarships to students at each
    institution will depend on the number of license plates purchased
    with that school's insignia.

    Provides financial assistance to students in need who are Texas
    residents and enrolled at least half-time at eligible public or
    private, non-profit senior colleges and universities in Texas.
    Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and
    consult your college financial aid office for additional information.
