Admission Requirements:
Test SAT I Prospective students cannot enroll
English 4 unless SAT I or ACT scores are on
Mathematics 3 file. Applicants are encouraged to
Science * 3 take one of these tests at the ear-
Foreign Language ** 2 liest possible date. Generally,
(same language) unconditional admission requires a
960 on the SAT I or a 20 on the ACT
and upper half of high school
graduating class.
*A student should have 2 units of laboratory science chosen from
Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or other lab science defined by TEA
Advanced High School Program. Students meeting this requirement
will be required to take 6 semester hours of college science.
Those not meeting this requirement will be required to complete 9
semester hours of science.
**A student should have 2 units of the same foreign language chosen
from approved TEA courses. Students not meeting this requirement
will be required to take 6 hours of college foreign language (same
language).
