Admission Requirements:
Test: For placement: ACCUPLACER, Asset, Compass, THEA
High school diploma
Also accept GED
Testing required for placement into college-level courses and
admission into special programs.
TSI requirements must be determined prior to enrollment.
Test: For exemption-
ACT - Composite score of 23 with minimum of 19 on English
and/or Mathematics shall exempt student from placement
test in corresponding section(s). Scores good for 5
years from date of test.
SAT - Composite score of 1070 with minimum of 500 on Verbal
and/or Mathematics shall exempt student from placement
test in corresponding section(s). Scores good for 5
years from date of test.
TAKS - (Exit Level) Minimum scale score of 2200 on Math and/or
English/Language Arts with a writing score of at least 3
shall exempt student from placement test in corresponding
section(s). Scores good for 3 years from date of test.
