If you do not meet assured admission requirements, an admissions
committee will evaluate your potential based on other criteria
including high school course work, honors/advanced placement
courses, extracurricular activities, civic or community service,
leadership experience, family educational and socioeconomic
background, diversity of experience and affiliation with
Texas Tech.
In addition to current university requirements for admission,
applicants beginning Spring 2010 must also have either:
successfully completed the curriculum requirements for the
recommended or advanced high school program or its equivalent;
or
satisfied ACT's College Readiness Benchmarks on the ACT
assessment applicable to the applicant or earned on the SAT
assessment a score of at least 1,500 out of 2,400 or the
equivalent
The Office of Admissions recommends that applications be completed by
February 1 for summer or fall admissions and November 1 for spring
admission. Completed applications must be on file on or before May 1
for fall admission, December 1 for spring admission, May 1 for
Summer I & II admission.
